Introduction

"Cine Period" is an initiative by the Children's Film Society, where films are exclusively created keeping children in mind. These inspirational films are based on children's stories, featuring child actors in lead roles. The Children's Film Society facilitated the screening of these films over a three-day festival.

Event Highlights

Film Showcase
- The festival featured screenings of films sourced directly from the Children's Film Society.
- Different shows were organized to invite various school children to the event.
- The venue accommodated up to 1000 people.
Intermission Activities
- Between screenings, awareness sessions were conducted about the harmful effects of fast food.
- Stalls were set up to offer healthy alternatives such as bhel, sprouts, dhokla, fresh fruit juices, etc.
Live Orchestra
- A live orchestra, comprising artists and volunteers from the Children's Film Society, performed during intermissions and at the end of each film.
- The orchestra actively engaged the children by inviting them to sing along during the live performances.
Health Checkups
- Health checkups were conducted for children during the festival, ensuring their well-being.
