Overview

The Chhattisgarh AIDS Control Board, in collaboration with various All India Radio centers in Ambikapur, Jagdalpur, Raipur, Bilaspur, and Raigarh, initiated a comprehensive radio program to raise awareness about AIDS. The program aimed to disseminate information regarding the dangers of AIDS, its increasing prevalence, and preventive measures. The broadcasts took place from May 6 to August 12, 2012.

Objectives

Implementation

The program consisted of 15 episodes in the Chhattisgarhi language, featuring discussions with doctors, highlighting precautions, and providing valuable information. The broadcasts reached audiences through All India Radio centers, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the state.

Guest Speakers

The program featured distinguished guest speakers, including officials, doctors, AIDS patients, and Chhattisgarhi campaigner Sunil Tiwari and Puspha Yadav.
